about WAKING UP FROM A NAP ON A LONG DAY OF DOING NOTHING: With the guidance of his best friend and mystical grandfather, a young painter – anxiously awaiting his first gallery show – embarks on a surreal skateboard odyssey through Portland to discover the true value of his art. This new short film from @thomjh (MATINEE BABY) features nearly thirty characters in more than a dozen iconic Portland locations, plus celebrity voice cameos and a posthumous performance by Hilton’s grandfather Jim Browning. This special two-night screening will precede the 1972 Barbra Streisand film WHAT’S UP, DOC?

about WHAT’S UP, DOC?: The accidental mix-up of four identical plaid overnight bags leads to a series of increasingly wild and wacky situations. Barbra Streisand stars as the free-spirited Judy Maxwell, who is an endearing mix of chaos and determination. Ryan O’Neal is the nerdy, uptight musicologist, Howard Bannister. Together they transport us into the over-the-top, slapstick romcom world of WHAT’S UP, DOC? taken in Laurelhurst Theater by @kitkat.kell
