Did you know you can get married in the middle of @chesterzoo ?!🐘🦧🦎

Katie and Jon did just that back in August in the most fabulous, colourful way and it was such a special day to have been a part of.

Katie is a HUGE McFly fan so of course I learnt The Heart Never Lies for her to walk down the aisle to! I also learnt a song from Baldur’s Gate as a surprise for Jon which I absolutely loved

All their guests had a chance to pop into the zoo to see the animals during the drinks reception and Katie and Jon got their gorgeous photos done with them too!

Such an incredible and unique venue!

“What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?”

Honestly? Everyone thinks they’ll be. But your wedding day is different. You’ll be with your favourite person, surrounded by people who love you, full of adrenaline. My job is to help you forget the camera and just be. The smiles, the tears, the belly laughs… they’ll come naturally.

💌slide into my DMs if you want my 5 favourite tips for feeling natural on camera.

Guys. You can get married at the zoo. For real. I had a true pinch-me moment in August when the wonderful Katie & Jon booked me to capture their wedding at my fave, @chesterzoo and we got to explore all those gorgeous hidden gems after closure. It was magical. I'm still not over it. Happy Friday! taken in Chester Zoo by @kitkatie91

KATIE & JON // “Some things just, some things just make sense
And one of those is you and I
Some things just, some things just make sense
And even after all this time

I’m into you, baby not a day goes by
That I’m not into you”
(Paramore)

Literally the BEST day, in a magical place with the very best humans celebrating LOVE. I cannot and will not stop shouting about this one but thank you SO much to the new Mr. & Mrs. Binns for inviting me along.

KATIE & JON // 6 days to gooooo!

These cuties booked me at the start of the year for their upcoming August wedding at @chesterzoo (eeeek!) and I feel like I've known them forever. When we met for their pre-wedding shoot, exploring Ancoats and the Northern Quarter, the conversation and the giggles never stopped. Pre-wedding shoots are such a wonderful way to break the ice in advance of the big day and even better: all full day wedding bookings have one included, on me! We move past the cringe into something sweeter, more authentic, into a space that tells your story in a way that feels real to you! taken in Ancoats by @kitkatie91
