a few more pencils from book-in-progress! this is the scene i used for the initial pitch, reworked a little bit for the book, and it’s still one of my favorites (and one of the most still directly related to anna karenina, as this story evolved away from being an adaptation and into more of a meditation on the story itself and the way we fixate on things that are important to the people who are important to us). by @kitmills

travel drawings from last week in colombia, mostly in bogotá! aside from the street scene, these are all from el museo del oro, an incredible collection of pre-conquistador artifacts made by the muisca and other indigenous peoples. i could spend daaaays in here drawing all these perfect shining objects. by @kitmills

a diary comic after a long hiatus from the practice! i post to tell you that i have a few others in this series pubbed in Journal Journal, a journal about journals.

highly recommend picking up a copy if you have any interest in the weird notes and ephemera that we all collect and catalogue in our personal archives. we are all dumpster-diving for meaning through our memories, experiences, and actual garbage.
