Let's celebrate Nature and her beauty with the fantastic challenge "Art in Nature" of Shawn @kosel_photography!

I’m submitting three artworks for this challenge:
- The first two are photos I’ve edited. The photo of the caterpillar was taken in my garden on Monday, and the one of the Japanese dogwood was taken at @bambouseraie.en.cevennes in late May.
- The third piece is a photomontage created in Photoshop.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed participating in this challenge!

Happy New Year everyone ✨ by @kitrichris

This is my third entry in the Watercolour Competition of Winsor & Newton - Edition 2025. I've called it “Movement” and it's refreshing!

This watercolour was created using graphite pencil and four colours from the Revival palette.

After working in 696 Viridian Hue with a complementary colour (a mixture of Field's Orange and Tyrian Purple) for “Pose”, this time I matched it with a similar colour: 420 Cinnabar Green, adding a touch of 417 Aureolin Hue to warm it up a little more and 419 Tyrian Purple for the darker shadows and the eye.

Thank you so much for this contest @winsorandnewton ! I realise that my watercolour technique is far from perfect, but I'm really pleased with the sensation of movement of the fins and I never thought I'd achieve this result. In short, I feel like I've surpassed myself and I'm delighted.

This is my second entry in the Winsor & Newton European Watercolour Competition 2025, I have called it ‘Pose’!

This watercolour was created using graphite pencil and just 3 colours from the Winsor & Newton Revival palette.

After Tyrian Purple for the Iris, this time the dominant colour is 696 Viridian Hue, so rich in blue that it comes close to turquoise - I love it. The shading was done with 419 Tyrian Purple and the skin with a mixture of 418 Field's Orange and 419 Tyrian Purple. It's really an ideal duo for making a golden skin.

I'm attaching my first sketch, before retouching the face. I forgot to take a photo after the sketch improvements.

A new drawing inspired by the weather!
I've called it “The Umbrella” because here in the South of France, it feels like summer already.

Sketched with 3H and 2B graphite pencils, outlined with Pigma Micron 005 felt-tip pen and coloured with @winsorandnewton alcohol markers: G457 (grass), G178 (Lime green), Q739 (safron), Y747 (Lemon), Y418 (ivory), CG2 (cool grey).

Thank you so much Sarah @themintgardener and @winsorandnewton for this Watercolor in bloom class!

At the moment, I only have some colors (the Revival collection palette) and really, I enjoy using it (first pro-quality watercolors I've ever had). I had great fun mixing green and orange for the stems and buds!

The book looks great too, I'm waiting for it to come out in French.

Many thanks again 😊

I'm delighted to show you two different drawing styles from the Fundamentals of Drawing course I taught last week in Montpellier with @elephorm.
What a wonderful and intense experience it was!

Sign and ensure the traceability of your visual creations!
As part of the Content Authenticity Initiative, Adobe Content Credentials offers a new type of metadata that allows creators to add additional information about themselves and their creative process directly to their content when it is exported or uploaded.

Here's a photo of a recent portrait study done with @sennelier1887's oil pastels and a few coloured pencils for details (the eyes in particular).
To add the metadata, I uploaded it to the dedicated area of the Adobe Content Authenticity site to apply Content Credentials in order to generate a new file containing the metadata. I used this file for this post.

I used After Effects to make these 3D-effect greetings, I was inspired by the livestream ‘Create a Digital Holiday Gift Card in After Effects’ from @sophie_elinor , a fantastic Australian typographer & graphic designer who streams on @adobelive Here the link of that session : https://www.behance.net/live/videos/24219/Create-a-Digital-Holiday-Gift-Card-in-After-Effects?tracking_source=to_replay&from_row=All
I've also added a few elements seen in @wadeacuff 's After Effects Creative Challenges on Adobelive!
Many thanks to both of you and to Adobe Live!
