Lately I've been trying to explore parts of Victoria I've never seen and go on walks with friends more often. These are some snaps from a walk around Sanatorium Lake, a lake made in 1899 to provide water for an institution that was meant to be built nearby (that never was).

The lake has a quiet and mysterious energy in the mornings, with mist dancing across the lake's surface alongside patches of dappled light, like spots on a Dalmatian. by @kittlingmusic

Surreal to finally visit the place where one of the movies that spurred me to study filmmaking and cinematography was filmed! Hanging Rock (or Ngannelong, probably) is such a unique place. The rocks found here are only found elsewhere in Norway and Sweden, and are called a mamelon (or 'nipple' in French), formed when volcanic lava is squished out of the Earth's surface.

Also super special as a place of ceremonies, gatherings and initiations for the Woi Wurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung groups for at least 25,000 years (based on stone tools found at the site). The longevity of First Nations activity here is startling when you consider it was happening continuously from at least the end of the last ice age! Mind melting. by @kittlingmusic

🔊 Sound on! WAX 📀 comes out in a week! And it's so soooo nice to put out some music after a very long drought. This song is silly, and the music video is even sillier! All I will say is... it is Little Shop of Horrors inspired 🌱 and I had to learn how to animate to make it 🙃 look forward to sharing the silliness that is made behind closed doors haha taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @kittlingmusic

🚨 New music! 🚨 Or more accurately, 2-year old songs that are finally having their moment 🙃

I'm releasing a double single Nov 28th!
Side A is Wax - a flirty lil Talking Heads-inspired song for the vinyl snob in your life, and Side B is Running Thinking Being, which I'd describe as "music to overtake slow walkers".

Can't wait to share them with you!
P.S. this vinyl is not real and is for wishful thinking purposes only 🧡 A flat lay of vinyl records, with the topmost record displaying the cover art for Wax by KITTLING, with the vinyl half out of the sleeve showing the centre label artwork. taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @kittlingmusic
