Hey #instagram ....It’s been a while since my last post! #ok so #today 4/28/18 marks an #OMG #historic #moment... so historic that I have to stop what I’m doing and share on all my #socialmedia #accounts so while doing a closet purge .... I’ve held on to some of my clothes from high school ... who remembers #babyphat #jeans .... mmmm over 10 years ago, and I can proudly say I can snuggly fit into a size 10-11 jeans!!! So story time.... I was never a fat or big child growing up I was actually super skinny.... I thought I could eat whatever and this body of mines was never going to change! Little did I know not being nice to this one body god gave me my body started to be not so nice to me back .... slowly but surely the weight started coming in 145 .... 158(doctors started telling me to watch it). ... 177( warning from doc saying pre diabetic).... 183... and finally 200( ultimatum from doctor! If not your going to be diabetic! Along with a whole list of bad things to follow!) I didn’t realize I was soooo heavy and my family members had ALWAYS told me #yourtoofat every since like I was 12(so That always went one ear out the other)and all the adult figures and my peers never said anything.... until last December I was teaching k-2nd grade worship class and a seven year old little girl came up to me and asked me are you a mommy? Do you have a baby in your belly?! Because you look like a mommy! In my head I’m like #wtfjusthappened and very offended and then reassessed myself ... and it finally hit me I was way over weight and super unhealthy..... I always avoided full body pictures... and didn’t dare to REALLY look into the mirror ..... through all and all I decided to go on my own healthy weight loss journey so I can be the best version of me.... shout out to my Cupcake for always being there and loving me for no matter how tiny or big I was ....... and @juancarlosaronez you inspired me to finally do it! I finally faced the mirror that one day! And @bwmcfitness you still manage to work out and stay healthy with four very active boys! And I’ve been follow you for a while but never had the guts to talk to you! Running a bilingual daycare from home is exhausting.... my days never looks as organized or as planned as yours, but you’ve given me plenty of motivation and inspiration for my lesson planning in trying to incorporate exercise into daily activities! So thank you to all!!!
