With everything going on in the world, I’m grateful for a family willing to travel deep into the mountains of Oaxaca to share a sacred mushroom ceremony together. 🍄💫

I wrote about the experience and what it taught me.

Less politics, more humanity. From marching for justice to reclaiming joy. Both felt necessary and healing.

As a first-gen immigrant, I’ve carried a lot fear, pressure, and pride. I finally wrote about it in my first Substack. It’s about growing up undocumented, working in music, and learning to feel whole in a divided world.

If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t belong, this one’s for you.❣️ Link in bio.

From @taleofus at an empty Yuma tent at Coachella 2017 to my first @afterlife_ofc at @amsterdamdanceevent 2018, I’ve traveled through 8 realms of consciousness in Barcelona, Ibiza, Tulum, NYC, Amsterdam, London, & LA.

The ADE @ziggodome show in 2021 marked Afterlife’s turning point from underground to massive productions, and by 2022 I got to witness @anyma’s Genesys birth at the final @printworkslondon. Experiencing its finale at the @spherevegas with special guests @_fkatwigs_ & @elliegoulding shows how far the genre has come—pushing boundaries with art, technology, and music.

While it’s lost some of the raw, communal energy that first drew me in, the message remains: we’re all just matter through time and space seeking love and connection through art and music. ✨

Thankful to celebrate this milestone at @addisonrestaurant with the most divine meal, in San Diego with beloved friends, and at the happiest place on earth sharing the holiday with our own Christmas bb Sophie Mia. 🎄🫶 #blessed #christmas #birthdays #disneyland to #sandiego taken in Addison Restaurant by @kittysnake
