same old boring movement patterns 👉🏼 week in, week out 👉🏼 zero ego lifting 👉🏼 control + technique maxxing 👉🏼 bc consistency 🤝🏼 results, trust me, I used to have the worlds flattest arse 🫠

Workout;

- Stabilised BSS: 3 sets x 10 weighted, superset with body weight x 10

- Barbell box squat: 40kg x 10, 50kg x 8, 60kg x 6-8, 70kg x 4

- Smith hip thrusts: 60kg - 80kg x 4 @ 8-12 ( seems like a pussy ahh weight but do them slow & controlled with a pulse & hold at the top & get back to me xx )

- Weighted back extensions: 4 x 8-12

fr where are all my 5’9 gym girly’s at? 🫶🏼Specifically those with long femurs + blessed with a flat a** 🥹

Not a lot of talk about how hard it is to build muscle as a tall, slim build female... out here training like a dog, force feeding protein + carbs like it’s going out of fashion, all to build the most mediocre badonky getting around 💁🏼‍♀️

Another HYROX Melbourne post 🥹

For the last year I’ve watched the fitness freaks I’m surrounded by head off to Hyrox, whilst I sat around convincing myself it wasn’t something that was achievable for me. Four months ago I decided I wanted to give it a crack, not an ideal lead up, with a traumatic international surgery 3 months out, but I promised myself we’d get there, and we did! ❤️‍🔥

Setting myself a Hyrox goal completely changed how I view my training, self image and meals. It’s been something to work toward, something that encourages me to try new and challenging things, and also solidified the mindset that it is a PRIVILEGE my body is able to achieve this 💪🏽

A huge thank you to @kateglavacich for being my partner & putting up with me nagging you on our runs 😂🫶🏽 I’m so proud of us! And to @sparcupfitness @ryanlewis83 , if it weren’t for your coaching & advice I still wouldn’t be able to even run 5km! (For those of you nervous about the km’s, I started running for the first time since middle school only 2 months out, you can do it!) 🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️

Truly had the best week watching/supporting our Sparc crew at such an epic, well organised event, @hyroxanz Melbourne has set the bar pretty high 🤌🏽
