✨New Year, New Profile Pic✨ I thought since it’s a new year I would re-introduce myself! Kia Ora everyone! My name is Nicole but you can call me Niki! 🥝 I live in New Zealand or as some people like to think it’s the small island country next to Australia 🤣 ☀️ I am 35 years old even though I still feel like I’m in my 20’s 🤣 🦷 I work in public health 📺 I love watching trashy reality tv shows! I am so excited for the new season of The Traitors UK starting tonight and of course I love Love Island & Married At First Sight! 🤭 🎥 My fav movies of all time are The Sound of Music, The Notebook and Titanic 🎵 My fav artists or should I say artist should come as no surprise but of course it’s the queen Taylor Swift! 💿 I loveeeee going to concerts and my first one of 2026 is in 2 weeks and I am SO EXCITED!!!! 📖 My fav genre of books is romance, the spicier the better 🫢🔥❤️ 📚 As you can tell by the picture I am a sports romance girly and in the picture you can see some of my favourite sports romance books from 2025 😍 📕 My fav tropes are enemies to lovers, forced proximity, marriage of convenience, small town romance, sports romance, single dad, to name a few 🩷 🥤 My fav drink is a mocha or peppermint mocha frappe from Starbucks 😍 🍭 I loveeeeee peanut m&m’s! It’s honestly so bad at how it’s an addiction at this point 🤣 QOTD: do we have anything in common? Feel free to introduce yourself as well in the comments! ❤️ P.S Can we please take a moment to admire another amazing illustration by the beautiful talented @oleelawdigiart ? It’s always a pleasure working with her! I thought this year I would honour @authorclrose and her Dayton Fury baseball series which is one of my favourites of 2025 . Merch is depicted from the most amazing small businesses @messterpieces1621 & @dreamyreadsapparel . Make sure to go check out their websites if you want to own a real life version of the cap and jersey 🥰 #meetthebookstagrammer #factsaboutme #gettoknowme #bookstagram #bookish by @kiwinikilovesreading
**Alpha/Beta Review** Be Mine by @rosemonroeauthor is book 3 in the Kings of New York series My rating: 5⭐️’s Spicy rating: 🔥🔥🔥 You will love this one, if you enjoy these tropes: 🔫 Mafia Romance 👫Friends to Lovers ❤ Best Friend’s Brother 👠Perfectionist/Boss Babe FMC 🔥 Possessive MMC 💋 Good Girl x Reformed Playboy ✅Spicy List Sebastian Princi has wanted Evie Chalmers for the longest time and one summer everything changes between them. However, things don’t end the way they both want but we all know this was not the end of their love story. Evie is one of my favourite FMC’s Rose has written. I loved how when she knows what she wants, she goes after it. Starting with trying to escape from her HORRIBLE mother. The way I did not like Evie’s mother lol. I loved that she was such a kind and caring sister even though her brother does some questionable things and puts them all in danger!! I loved when Evie decides to take control of her sex life and writes a spicy checklist. When Seb finds said spicy list, there is no way he is letting anyone else check those off but him!! Sebastian Princi was so different to Raf and Marco but I LOVED HIM! I loved his kind and caring side and the way that man stood up to Evie’s mum - it was so HOT! I love that he is fiercely protective of Evie and that was very evident throughout the book Rose did an amazing job weaving in the endo rep with Evie. I know this book is going to be so relatable to so many women out there. The spice was delicious but CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR!! 🤭🥵🔥 As always I LOVED the found family aspect of this book and the girls and boys chat had me laughing so much! The mafia elements kept me wanting to keep reading to find out what happens next! Overall, I loved this one and I am SOOOO READY for book 4 because I have BEEN WAITING for Luca Princi!!!! #bookreview #bestfriendsbrother #bookish #romancebooks #mafiaromance *edit is mine, stock images* by @kiwinikilovesreading
