an honour to attend mew’s last ever show at the roundhouse last month. it was a beautiful night. just managed to catch the start of their set as i was coming from work 🫩 but it’s all good. lovely send off <3 w/ support from the pale white !! by @kixlepixel

last bits of jan :) tried this mysterious blue elixir (very nice) watched porky’s 1 2 and 3 and i have never been more confused by a film trilogy. ‘jammie dodger’ shots as ordered by ella 🫩 made some modern art. went to braintree and had some luvly food

january spam up until this point. partial biscuits reunion w felix n kate <3 tried the limited edition spiced meatball n feta wrap and it’s so sexy. went to a gaza fundraiser gig organised by alyssa i love my friends they are so cool. forced ella to listen to me monologue about guitars on denmark street for an hour. duncan is doing well. tried glittery elphaba squash (?) bought 90 cans of monster. walked around the neighbourhood with my wares.

and that’s it! we are finally caught up! sorry to everyone who follows me and thanks to for not unfollowing me this past month. god willing i will never get this behind on posts again by @kixlepixel

BORN OF OSIRIS 18/01/2026
after listening to them for ~12 i finally saw born of osiris. tomorrow we die alive was possibly the first deathcore album i listened to regularly and also the first exposure to djent so this was a long time coming. and they were awesome also. support from within destruction, aversions crown and larcenia roe who all kicked ass (pictured at the end is my 13 year old thumb holding the cd when i first bought it) by @kixlepixel

lovely little acoustic in-store at rough trade east to celebrate the release of his new album running with scissors ! after the performance there was a signing and i got my cd signed :) i havent met him since 2019 so it was nice. unfortunately i look like he is holding me at gunpoint but we move. also while i was in the signing queue i noticed i had apparently been messaged by jeff goldblum a week prior by @kixlepixel

last bits of leeds. made spag bol and put entirely too much spring onion in it (which is saying a lot for me, someone who eats raw spring onions) went to revive and found this for court (which i have still not given you sorry i will soon <3) i debated on this little filing cabinet but decided no for now. had tapas at las iguanas, my first time there, it was soooo good (not alcoholic kopparberg for the liver). loved this jumper but it was a small </3 had THATZIKI as dinner on our final night. kilo of cheesecake for breakfast (from two angles) then roadtrip back home. at the end you can see all the shit i bought and why i am so poor: this 3 in one portable wireless charging cube that i have been in love with for ages and decided to finally get after remembering how much effort it is setting up charging wires when you’re travelling (photo taken w ellas phone thanks x). the book and the everything is good patch are from a shop in the corn exchange and i’ve been eyeing them up for months. the pins are from afflecks in manchester. the ring and the tee and the jumper are from shops in the corn exchange also :)

initially we planned on getting the coach so we could drink while we were there but after my near death from alcohol poisoning we decided to roadtrip it instead. got a new shirt from afflecks and that ‘what if it all works out’ patch :) the next day it was time for lana to go home but we did up leeds for a little bit, got things in bread again (yum) and i went in blue rinse in leeds for the first time it is MASSIVE ! also found that urban have started doing my funky jumper but in orange… money may be spent in the coming months. pregnant gay luigi

otley run outtakes. played darts. toilet had a cuck shelf. got wasted. tactical chundered when i got home and i really made sure to get Everything out. and i think if i hadn’t had that wisdom while shitfaced i would’ve been in a lot more trouble. i woke up (on my birthday) feeling incredibly fragile. hiked back to the golden beam for huge pub breakfast. wandered back. rotted all day. when we got back ella noticed that a massive blotch of skin on my face had gone yellow like i mean highlighter yellow and in response i downed a litre of lucozade sport and went back to sleep and when i woke up i was less yellow so i figured i’d be fine. just sleep off the jaundice it can’t hurt you. you can’t really see it in the photo cos that was several hours afterwards but yeah i think i was probably half a pint away from actual liver failure. which is why i haven’t drank anything since then yet! had dinner at nandos and i felt a lot better after that. made ella dream of cheese puffs.

OTLEY RUN 03/01/2026
first one of the year and first one ever for me. we attempted to do all 17. we knew student union would be closed so we were gonna do disco spoons at the end as replacement. also ate in the golden beam but didn’t drink there (ella and lana did). it mostly went well until we found that the eldon and handsome brewery were both also closed. and then we went dry dock (the only place i forgot to take a pic 💔) (i rushed in cos it was so cold by this point) and then we tried to go hedley verity after but there was a massive queue and we were running on fumes so we called it a night. so 14 pints :p

also we found an uber eats robot. what by @kixlepixel
