MY FIRST BOOK SIGNING IN LA!!! Pinch me! A couple of weeks ago and it was truly a DREAM COME TRUE! I seriously thought that I might sell a handful of books. If I sold 5, I would be grateful. Romantic Dinner for One!! 💕 So this year for V-Day, I wanted to do something different. Over the years I’ve celebrated Lovers Day with boyfriends, with my best friends, with my church friends, with family. This year, I chose to celebrate the day just with me! Seriously, I made my plans weeks ago. I turned down invitations from others and I kept my date with myself. I can’t even begin to explain how truly monumental that is for me. I am a reformed “do everything for everyone else and wait for them to do for me” kind of girl. In sum, that ish is trash and it’s draining. So, at 43 years old, for the first time, I celebrated Valentine’s Day with my very best friend, the dopest lover, and the kindest heart, Zakiyah. The crazy part is that I genuinely haven’t felt loneliness today at all. I have been legit bubbly and smiling all day long. 😂 Turns out, all the love I need is right inside of me. Best part is choosing to share some of it with others. Only some, though. No more sharing it all and leaving myself empty. 10 out of 10 day! Highly recommend!

Just a FEW highlights from 2025! There were so many more moments that are only captured in my memory. I danced in ballrooms, signed books as an author, laughed with friends, reunited with high school classmates, floated in crystal blue water in St. Barth, hosted parties in my home, wrote and recorded a holiday song, hiked snowy trails in Alaska, and likely so many other moments, activities and experiences.
