Today, I submitted my application to be featured on the cover of Men's Health.

Whether I get selected or not, the application itself made me stop and reflect on how far I've come.

There was a time when I lacked confidence in my body. I compared myself to others, focused on what I wasn't, and struggled to appreciate the person looking back at me in the mirror.

Over the years, I've learned that fitness is about so much more than appearance.

It's about discipline when motivation fades. It's about showing up when nobody is watching. It's about building confidence through keeping promises to yourself. It's about becoming stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.

My journey is still far from over. I'm not the strongest, the leanest, or the most accomplished person in the room. But I am proud of the progress I've made and the person I'm becoming.

At 31, I'm building businesses, pursuing my purpose, and continuing to invest in my health every day. Through Kiyo Kye, my mission is to inspire others to live clean, pure, and clear and to become the best version of themselves.

So today, I'm choosing courage over comfort and putting myself forward.

Win or lose, I'm grateful for the journey.
