Final portfolio pages from my creative director module. In this module we were required to design from the perspective of the new creative director of our chosen fashion house. I chose Dries Van Noten. I love the way he layers and combines print and fabric but felt like my own way of designing was different enough to bring a contrasting element to the final looks I produced.

Went to see the artwork of Mucha, Dalí and Warhol on a recent trip to Prague. It was interesting to compare their different sources of inspiration and working practices.

My personal favourite was Dali as you could connect how his views on the world and politics (although I don't share the same views) were expressed in his work. taken in Central Gallery by @kizzyhortondesign

Initial concept boards from my final project in my first year as a fashion student.

The projects focus was mainly on getting to grips with historical context whilst also combining elements of personal interest. For me this was the paranormal and skeletal remains. It was really interesting to see how contrasting references worked together to create a design narrative.
