I had the privilege of attending a Royal cremation ceremony in Bali, which only happens when a member of the royal family passes on.

In Balinese Hinduism, the ritual is called Ngaben, and it is performed to release the soul so it can continue its journey.

The Bali Purnati Center for the Arts is my home for six weeks while I work on this documentary project.

Not all of Bali looks like Instagram influencer algorithms.

This used to be one of Bali’s biggest theme parks.
Now it is being slowly reclaimed by nature.

I explored Taman Festival in Sanur and brought the drone up to see what time has made of it.

Bali goes deeper than the beaches.

In the days leading up to Nyepi, I’ve been filming inside Desa Adat Gerih as the community prepares its Ogoh-Ogoh.

This is the beginning of Nyepi: A Day of Silence.
