My Covid-19 Social Distancing: Day 633. My work won’t include covering Pasco County meetings any more. I’ve enjoyed coming to this building almost twice a month for the past 4 years. I learned a ton about a million topics and had a bunch of great laughs with my co-worker Patrick. My Covid-19 Social Distancing: Day 546. The other night I made a salad but when I was finished adding all the toppings the lettuce to topping ratio was way off. I thought about adding more lettuce, but then I asked myself why I needed the lettuce. So that’s what inspired tonights “salad.” Chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, mixed bell peppers, mozzarella pearls, beets, green olives, and a bit of Italian dressing. My Covid-19 Social Distancing: Day 395. Went skating for the first time in more than a year, I think (honestly who is keeping time in this panini?) Decided to just do 30 mins thinking I’d be fine, I should have done 15. I got so excited to be skating that I basically used all my energy the first lap around the track. Spent the rest of the 28 mins just trying to keep the local running club from lapping me, and trying to get my muscle memory to kick in. Shin splints for days! My COVID-19 Social Distancing: Day 318. It’s been a busy few weeks at work and all day I had two songs playing on repeat in my head. So after work I decided to have a dance party with Max. If you know Max, you know he doesn’t love to be picked up and held, but he didn’t mind so much today. He did get dinner and treats afterward, I’m not a monster. He even gave me a high five, a little trick we’ve been practicing since working from home. My COVID-19 Social Distancing: Day 294. I have been very lucky and fortunate to be able to work from home since March. Today I went back to the office for the first time since May. I’ll be going in all week for trainings. Honestly, I was super anxious and worried, but once I was there and working it was less scary. There were only about 10 people scattered throughout the building. I walked over to our old building, which is now empty. (Pics 2 & 3) Today was a change for Max too, he’s so used to me being home all day now. He was extra cuddly when I returned. I forgot how much working at work exhausts you haha. I still prefer working from home. My COVID-19 Social Distancing: Day 248. You don’t wanna know how long it took me to count what day I’m on...but today’s my birfday! So of course I found my first white hair. Got lots of messages from friends and family. Got home from a meeting in Pasco to a birthday care package from a friend. Then my parents came over with a Boston Market birthday dinner, and cupcakes for dessert *chef kiss* Ended the night with a hilarious and heart warming zoom gathering. My Covid-19 Social Distancing: Day 206. Yes, apparently, 206! Been awhile since I updated but today was different. I donated blood for the first time!* I’ve always wanted to try, and after a pasco meeting I made time. Had to wait a little outside, thanks Covid, but once I was inside the process was easy and pretty quick. I encourage everyone who is able to give. And I got 2 pairs of socks as a thank you! Max is doing well too.

My COVID-19 Social Distancing: Day 98. My second bedroom is officially part office now. After cleaning it up and organizing, and getting an office chair, today was the first day working at my desk. No more working on the couch for me. A new setup means Max gets a whole new area to claim. All morning he laid on my mouse and walked all over the desk while I was in a zoom meeting. I put a blanket over a chair so he has his own space next to me, and I could actually work at the desk. Also had a plumber come by to snake my bathtub after months of slow drainage. It’s like a whole new tub! After work I caught up on @thegooddeath on #youtube and watched #johnwick chapter 2.
