calling all seafood (🐟🐠🐡🦀) lovers <33
this is the best poke i’ve had outside hawaii. the ahi + salmon were so fresh and buttery…melted in my mouth!! i also really liked the crab salad bc it was super creamy which paired well w the raw fish. big fan of the spicy hawaiian style ⭐️🌺🏄‍♀️ popular flavors can run out later in the day so try to get there before dinner rush or busier days of the week :’)

my new go-to eats in east bay 🐒⭐️ .ᐟ.ᐟ been back to these places a few times and THEY NEVER FAIL ME…such yummy flavors and textures for such affordable prices. i’ll be back soon heheheh

⊹ lloyd’s donut kitchen (fremont) — 🍎🍩 SO MANY APPLE CHUNKS and reallly crispy exterior. good doughy texture inside

⊹ pineapple king bakery (fremont) — 🍍🍞 the most mochi soft chewy bread i’ve ever tasted. even after a few days the bun is still so pillowy. taro is my all time FAV

⊹ ming’s tasty (oakland) — 🥟🥬 quick service and good flavors. they know how to nail a good xlb

⊹ meadowlark dairy (pleasanton) —🍦🐮 best soft serve in the bay …sorry costco. super creamy and fun seasonal flavors. pineapple is a dole whip DUPE!! line can be long but worth bc it’s so cheap :’)

transported back to japan with this meal :^) 🎏
i was blown away by the freshness of the seafood and attention to detail of all the dishes here. the scallops, uni, and tuna were may favs (🌟) — super sweet and flavorful, without being fishy. plating was a work of art!! the tatami room seating feels so special and is perfect for more private dining… + i like being comfy and sitting on the floor when i eat hehe~ special mention to the kaisen don and salmon, akami cones for having the BEST crab i’ve ever tasted. loved the combination of fried shallots and sushi rice underneath <3 belly is happy AND SO FULL

new cafe in the bay?!? ….im there 🤸🏻‍♂️🍵

latte syndrome is a vietnamese owned matcha/coffee pop-up located in front of me va con restaurant! <3

matcha flavor is strong and nutty,, just how i like it:3 i also loved the textures of the toppings in each drink. still thinking about the toasted coconut and caramelized banana (might have to recreate this @ home!!!) coffee was smooth but a bit sweet imo :/

dare i say these are the crunchiest churros i’ve ever had…costco food court has nothing on this place 🤏🏼 😗

i looove late night sweet treats + this was so crunchy, sweet, and airy <YUM!!> there were lots of filling options but i always gravitate towards fruity flavors so i got guava :3 coming back to try the fried banana asap🏃‍♀️

my fav meal from august!!! :) 🍚 🦆

my friend and i waited all day for this restaurant to open and it was worth it….perfect post-beach meal bc it was so warm and comforting. all dishes were yummy but personal favorite was the lychee duck curry. duck was JUICY and went so nicely with the tangy / sweet curry. as a fruit lover i was a big fan of the lychee flavor

celebrating two years of work post-grad with nami 🥹⭐️ (it’s also nami’s 2nd birthday <3)

#caffeinemaxxing except i could only drink 2.5 bevs 😲

i’m always craving southeast asian flavors, so these cafes were just my style hehe!! give me anything with pandan in it :3 i can’t handle a lot of caffeine but do like it when i can taste the aromatic coffee flavor. these coffees were very strong (in a good way) and def kept me awake! my fav (⭐️🫰🏼) was the pandan muối latte from kasama cà phê….i chugged that thing so fast TT cafe interiors were super trendy ~~ cute study spots i’ll come back to
