Our cowboy corgi, Mr. Banner participated in the Halloween festivities at our neighborhood dog park. He’s adorable. He loves his furry and human friends there. ❤️🤠 by @kkarlisch

I just have to share how grateful I am for my college roommate, Shawn @sbrossart. Over 33 years later, we’re still in sync, even with the miles between us and life pulling us in different directions.

We’ve been there for it all. College days, single girl vacations, weddings, raising our families, and cheering on our daughters at every stage. Now I’m settling into my empty nester days and hers are just around the corner. Through the hardships and the gifts, we keep leaning on each other and choosing gratitude to be our better selves.

Here’s to always being friends, and maybe one day living a little closer so we can share even more laughs and adventures together. 💛 by @kkarlisch

Both girls in town ..us all together and coincidently on national daughters day. Happy Mama. 🫶 Happy parents.🫶Happy sisters. by @kkarlisch

Some centerpieces sit quietly. This one has something to say. 🍂

Early Fall is showing up in the best way. Persimmons still on the branch, bells of Ireland doing their own wild thing, and soft butter ranunculus keeping it all sweet. A centerpiece with personality for your weekend table.
Let it wander.

Butter ranunculus, dahlias, Queen Anne’s lace, bells of Ireland, spider mums, persimmons and star pods.

A little post-shoot play session testing out a new ceramic bowl. Leaning into rich texture with petalless sunflowers, draped green amaranthus, bittersweet vine, and persimmons. Just so happens this season’s shoe trends are leaning into the exact same palette. 💚

The best quick McKenna squeeze in Fayetteville while driving through from KC back to Texas. Miss these hugs! by @kkarlisch

Go get the Dahlias ya’ll! These are from @traderjoes (don’t hate me flower farmer friends) and it does matter when (time and day) you go to find the best selection. They are $5.99 and they won’t last long so go grab em! by @kkarlisch

Monday flowers. Zinnias gifted from our visit to @flintlockranch, now arranged and enjoying their moment at home. We are enduring record heat this summer, waiting for it to break, and these zinnias are right there with us. One of the toughest summer flowers, holding strong in full sun and scorching heat when so much else in the garden is struggling. Grateful for the garden flowers and the reminder that beauty can endure through the hardest stretches. by @kkarlisch

Reminding ourselves to keep seeking creative inspiration, love and good people. It was a full weekend with some work and play. A little inspiration from the Nic Nicosia exhibit at @the_nasher_, a long overdue visit to see one of the hardest working couples we know who own @flintlockranch @mashupgenetics and taught us the meaning behind best in show. They shared some zinnias to take home too! 🌸 To top off the weekend I got some Mom & daughter time creating some insect art in another workshop @andieincolor studio. Very grateful. by @kkarlisch

Hello I’m Kristen and I like to create with floral and more. I’m currently in search of expired and intact sunflower heads with their stem. If you have or know of any medium and large expired🌻 heads I’d love to take them off your hands for an art project. Thank you and can’t wait to get started on early fall floral!
Giant sunflower head donation from @flintlockranch 🥰 by @kkarlisch

Joyful sunflowers and dahlias, made as a little thank you for the kindness of friends. There is something about arranging flowers at the end of summer that can make life a little lighter. Grateful for the people who fill my days with kindness.
