As June comes to a close, Kappa would like to recognize Pride Month and reflect on what it means to our chapter through three of our six core values. Rooted in connection, optimism, and trailblazing, we are committed to fostering a community where everyone can be authentically themselves and feels welcomed, supported, and valued.

🌈 Connection: We strive to create meaningful connections and support an environment where everyone can love authentically and be celebrated for who they are.

🌈 Optimism: We hope for a future where LGBTQIA+ individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and equity.

🌈 Trailblazing: We recognize the courage of LGBTQIA+ community members and allies whose advocacy has helped advance equality, including milestones such as the legalization of same-sex marriage.

Pride is an opportunity to celebrate, learn, and continue fostering an inclusive sisterhood where every member and every person feels they belong. Not just during the month of June, but every day. by @kkgluc
