Well, a week has passed and I still don’t really know how to put this into words.

Loving you was one of the easiest things I’ve ever done, but having to say goodbye to you twice has truly been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to experience.

My first dog, my first baby, and such a HUGE part of my life. You were there for versions of me that feel like an entirely different lifetime now, and somehow losing you feels like losing a little piece of all of them too.

You were the silliest, goofiest, craziest, handsomest, sweetest, most loving boy. I hope you knew just how loved you were by everyone you encountered, and how much I missed you when I wasn’t with you.

I’m so beyond grateful you got 7 good years. Half of them spent in Oregon being a snow, mountain, and coast puppy, and the other half being an island and ranch pup. You truly lived such a full life, and knowing that will forever bring me happiness.

I was so damn lucky to have had you for 4 of those 7 years, and I’ll forever cherish every one of them.

Disappeared for a few months because life was doing what it does best, rerouting me.

Going to be so real and raw… The last 4 months stripped me down in ways I didn’t expect. Unemployed for 4 months forced to slow down, sit with myself, and make choices I was scared to make.

Moving back home wasn’t part of the plan. I was afraid it meant going backwards. But the universe had other plans. I moved back, and found a job within 2 weeks with a company I stand behind. I found my footing again. More importantly found peace and myself again.

This isn’t a “everything worked out perfectly” post. It’s a reminder that sometimes what feels like a setback is actually alignment. 🌙 by @kkiirrraa

Holy heck, what a weekend.

Finally fulfilled my inner teenager by going to my first EDC. Only took 10 years to make it happen!
