A heart-mending trip home this weekend to celebrate the life of our beloved friend, Jeff. I only took one picture because I wanted to be present to all the love and warmth but it was an epic send off for an epic human and so beautiful to see everyone show up for him just as he always showed up for everyone else. As always when I go back to Ridgewood, I am reminded of how much I love the people I grew up with. There are no words really. An incredibly special bond.💕 by @kkletter

Late to posting but I was so thrilled to attend the Pat Conroy Literary Festival where I got to see my childhood friend, John (above) and his beautiful wife, Katie and stay in their oh-so-gorgeous home, and spend time with so many amazing authors and creatives. A lot of meaningful moments but my favorite was finally meeting Cassandra King, Pat’s wife and getting to tell her how much his books and his blurb of my first novel meant to me. Of course, dork that I am, I immediately burst into tears but no one who knows me is surprised to hear that.🤷‍♀️ by @kkletter

Nothing is better in life than finding your people. Especially if they’re hysterically funny, huge-hearted and wise. 💕Last night we celebrated Jennifer and Justin in LA, some amazing news (not mine but it feels as exciting as if it was!) and the truly incredible soon-to-be-released books of some of our favorite people. In our happy place!⛷️Lookswise we are both a mess in all these pics but joy-wise 10 out of 10. First day was -7 with windchill which was a bit rough but I pretended I was on “Survivor Winter Edition” to tough it out. Documenting the joy of defrosting in the car afterwards.😃The other days the weather was perfection AND we survived the trip with no broken bones so win/win! by @kkletter
