sub 2-hour for my 2nd half marathon🏃‍♀️

I’ve officially completed 2 out of 3 of the races for the @chidistanceseries , I have 1 race left. I’m honored to announce that in October, I will be running @chimarathon with @shrinershospitals

For those of you who don’t know, I was born with polydactyly and syndactyly. I was a patient at @shrinersohio and underwent a couple surgeries there. I also had the opportunity to attend their summer camp (Camp Ytiliba) as both a camper and later a junior counselor. Camp gave me a space to be authentically me - surrounded by other kids who understood what it meant to go through surgeries and face the constant stares. Those summers built my confidence and helped shape who I am today.

My family never paid a cent for the incredible care I received. That generosity and compassion are what makes Shriners so special - no child is turned away.

Now, it’s my turn to give back. Running this marathon for Shriners feels so full circle - a way to honor the people who helped me become who I am and to ensure other kids have the same chance to heal, grow, and thrive.

Thank you so much for supporting me, for cheering me on, and for helping me give back to a hospital that gave me so much❤️
