Another transformation video. Same old, same old. I’m posting myself at two completely opposite sides of the spectrum, for the anyone to see, and quite honestly, it’s embarrassing and nerve wracking.
I don’t post these to keep showing off how much I’ve changed. I post them to show hope. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum. I know what it feels like to feel completely lost in your relationship with your body and food. I know what it feels like you’ve lost control, and to wonder if you’ll ever find your way back. If you’re struggling on either end of the spectrum, or look “perfectly healthy” but struggling internally, I promise the fight isn’t over. You are not too far gone. You have to want it. You have to learn to see past society, unrealistic standards, and the influence of other people. This journey has taught me that being healthy is about so much more than a number on the scale.

I’ve experienced both extremes, and neither is where I found peace or any sort of happiness whatsoever.

I know my social medias are filled with the same gym content every day. To some people it might be annoying or repetitive. The truth is, posting my journey is what keeps me accountable and motivated. What most people don’t see is the mental battle behind it all.

Losing over 60% your body weight on ur own while building muscle is something not many people do and definitely the hardest thing i’ve ever done. Times in up until sophomore year of college where i was quite literally close to bullied to death because of my weight… I never would’ve imagined becoming the person I am today.

Now people asking me for advice on how to build muscle if i do bodybuilding/ competing without even knowing where I came from is surreal to me.

I don’t post my progress to show off or annoy you. I post because I’m proud of how far I’ve come; because it keeps me focused, and because maybe one person who feels stuck will see it and realize that change is possible.

If you have goals, stop waiting. The only person standing between you and where you want to be is yourself.

Be kind.
You never know someone’s struggles or where they have came from.
