When masculinity stops resisting tenderness. A disarming of the masculine form as it surrenders to love, in all its softness. An all-encompassing love carried through a turbulent and emotionally difficult current. Through it, he strengthens, as does his love. A baptism from previous hurt, leading into a renewed life - a new appreciation for love. He does not surrender because he has been defeated. He surrenders because he has finally reached a love in which he no longer needs to defend himself. The story is about the moment someone realises they no longer have to survive love they simply inhabit it. I connected with this amazing writer @klaejo_mind some time back. But what allowed us to create this almost poetic piece was connection to art, to writing, and that unknown to me he is also Ugandan. 🇺🇬 but his own story combined with a person close to me shaped almost the feeling of this piece. by @klaejo_mind
