Happy New Year!🩷🍄🐅🫐

Picking some of my favourite drawings from 2025. This year was definitely about vibrant colours and trying out various colour palletes.🩵💚🩷

I rediscovered oil pastels, tried out guache for the first time and finished my first big sketchbook full of coloured drawings rather than just quick sketches. Really excited for 2026 more ideas already in progress🖌📕

Bookmarks now available on Etsy! Link in bio📚🪲

I love reading, but feel like I always loose my bookmarks, so I had this idea to turn some of my art into bookmarks. This was part of my bug paintings series, and of course there was no other option but to call them BUGmarks😂

It’s been so much fun not only painting but also making these. I’ve had this idea since the summer but it’s taken some time, a bunch of tests and planning to turn it into a real deal. So thanks so much for all the support from everyone!!!

If you love reading, or know someone who does and are looking for a Christmas present, feel free to have a browse😊 they’re all available now in 6 colours, and thanks again!!

Latest 3 Paintings 🎨

All three are 40x50cn Acrylic Paint on Canvas, inspired by animals and a hint of fantasy. As always, can't resist adding some stars✨️ Great to see them all finally together😊

Angry or someone stood on their tail??🐅

I've drawn these mini portraits with lined backgrounds before, but here I was experimenting with adding an extra layer on top, with these foam like bubbles really excited by the result!💜❤️

As always keeping to some bold colour choices, especially as I'm seeing less sunshine now that winter is approaching❄️

I’m starting to miss summer so still thinking in bright yellow and orange colours💛🧡

Love their silhouette, especially when the tentacles can be drawn in so many different ways🐙

Thanks to @enmy_uk for these markers and paper pad, absolutely in love with layering these colours, normally I need to plan a bit more for the lighter areas or just do multiple layers, but the pigment in these markers is awesome🧡🖊️

Grumpy Guy taking over this sketchbook spread🐟🐟

So much character in that face, love the silhouette. Going for a more saturated look to lift this page up a bit💙🩵💙

Sketchbook spread pt1

Think my favourite thing is layering the colours to get all the textures💚❤️

Strike a pose🪶

As always in love with the silhouette of these birds, something about the curve of their neck💙🩵

Little bit unsure of the dark background, thought it would be a nice contrast to the blue feathers, but they seem to have got a bit lost, either way was great to test out some silver paint details🩶

Carrying on with my current red background obsession❤️

Here I wanted to emphasise the speed of the cheetah, keep a focus on the facial features, but blur out the body, giving the mane fire like fluidity🐆

Finally finishing this croc page!🐊

Do you even do art if you haven't abandoned a page for a couple of months😂

Still think the one in top left is the star of the show⭐️⭐️ Might be the slightly desaturated red undertone, but it was good to experiment with a few textures.

Tiger Drawing🐅

I've been doing a lot of acrylic marker only drawings recently so I've gone back to layering them on top of alcohol markers

Bit about the process: starting with an initial rough sketch, then going over to get the main outlines, layering in the alcohol markers, they make a nice base to work with and are often where the highlights remain, then I've layered the darker colours in acrylic markers and going over the outlines in coloured pencil.
