✨ Honouring Skye Gyngell ✨

The food world lost someone truly special.
Skye Gyngell’s cooking was a reminder that the simplest ingredients, treated with care and patience, can become something deeply moving.

Her love of slow cooking, of seasonality, of letting ingredients speak, has always resonated with us at Kleftiko-a-Go-Go.
It’s the heart of what we do too: whole foods, time, and a family recipe passed down with love.

We’re thinking of her, and of the generosity and gentleness she brought to food.
A legacy built not on fuss, but on feeling.

May her philosophy live on in every kitchen where slow, thoughtful cooking is still cherished.
💛

Gimmie a word, any word, and I’ll show you that the root of that word, is GREEK 🇨🇾🇬🇷

KLEFTICO ~ meaning lamb stolen. It originates from the Klephts (the thief) who stole the lambs to cook way back when. Clever, right? 🤓

So, this beautiful lamb was gifted to me by @kleftikoagogo - heavenly in taste and massaged with flavours of garlic, oregano and rosemary for that perf aroma! Something totally different for us, but we would deffo recommend for those in need of dinner party/homely family dinner inspo. ✨

Tender, moist and paired with ‘Boulanger’ style potatoes that were dripping in the lamb juices. Served alongside my mums Greek pilafi rice and my honeyed carrots using @louisas_honey 🍯

You can order directly from them via DM, it feeds 4-5 people generously and can be popped on the oven as is for 5 hours while you get on with your day 👏🏼

Best part about it, they give you a free lemon with every order 🍋💛
