Q. Wait so you really run a business AND perform?
A. Yes! I’ve always been a performer, but during the pandemic, I decided that if I was going to be spending 30-40 hours a week in a survival job alongside auditioning anyway, I might as well make it something I love to do (and something I can take with me whenever I leave to do performing gigs.)

Q. How do you juggle it all?

SPEND THE DAY WITH US 🩵

the Sara x Sarah friendship came to be before there was ever a BTL x Kleist collab — and it all started when @btlcopy commented on @kleistcreative’s TikTok complimenting her website

Kleist was in the middle of a Reach Out ritual (shoutout @themollybeck & @carlyvalancy!) and reached out to BTL to compliment her back!

that was back in 2020, and they’ve been besties ever since, growing from “Internet friends” to IRL BFFs!

(the first thing Kleist ever said to BTL — when Sara came to visit in NYC — was “oh! you’re short!” lmao)

the girls have had some ICONICCCC collabs over the years… and this post is just one of them 👀

THE GIRLS ARE MULTI-HYPHENATES OKKKK 🔥

Kleist in a more traditional sense of the term — she’s a full time designer AND an actor! the fame!!!!

BTL in a less literal sense — Homegirl just has 85 businesses she runs at once (copywriting services, mentorship programs, newsletter support membership, podcast, book she’s writing… you get the vibes)

Part of keeping a “to-done list” in the first place is about celebrating the small wins, especially when you’re going through an extremely transitional time.

So even though this wasn’t the most “achievement-driven” month I’ve ever had (although, singing for Jane Fonda was p cool), giving space and celebration to big life moments (like moving!) still feels good for the soul. 🙂‍↕️

Here’s to proving that your to-done list doesn’t always have to look like “featured in Forbes” or “had 2349234 callbacks” (although, I’d love if it did 👀).

Sometimes, it can just look like surviving The 2026 Summer Plague. 🤡 And that’s good enough every once in a while!

May was a whirlwind 🤪😎🎭🎉❤️

If you’re new here, my “to-done” list is a practice I started around 8 years ago where every single morning, I write down everything I did the day before. Then at the end of the week, I compile the highlights, and I do the same at the end of the month, quarter, and year!

What started as a way to convince myself that I was ~doing enough~ for my career turned into a system that helps me 1.) share everything I’m up to more easily and 2.) consistently remind myself that I’m currently in the “good ole’ days”.
