Get to know me, the bookstagrammer, beyond just the bookish things🥰

Hi everybody, I’m Rebekah! This post shares a little bit about me. I’m excited to do another one of these soon but fun facts edition🤭

I created this account to share with others in my love for books and motherhood. I fell in love with reading as a hobby first through listening to audiobooks as a postpartum mama about 3 years ago. It’s actually quite amazing how much my hobbies have grown and shaped me since then. Anyway, thank you for being here. I’d love to know more about you, beyond just what’s bookish, as well!

I guess there are a lot of unfortunate things I do, I could easily make 10 parts! Can you relate to any?😅

Hi everybody, I’m new here!🤗

Making this post I realized that I only take photos of my kids😂 I had to go digging from years past to find photos of myself.

I’m super excited to share the things I love and hopefully become apart of the awesome bookstagram community in the process.📚✨

Do we have anything in common?

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley book review📖

3⭐️ This is iconic and rightly so. The prose was so interesting. The use of such advance language matches our main characters intellect very fittingly. SAT words galore for sure😂 At the novels conclusion, I definitely felt compelled to do some research to make sure I understand and appreciate it fully.

October Reading Recap📚

I feel like I had so many 3⭐️s this month😱 but in my brain that makes sense because my three star rating means it felt average.

“The Calamity Club” by Kathryn Stockett was definitely my favorite read this month. It was such a stand out book.

I also included some favorite read alouds my daughters enjoyed this month. We were reading so many good books together as well! I love how much the love books🥹🥰

💬What was your favorite read of October?📖🤗

Let’s reorganize my bookshelves!📚

After library book sale season and the HUGE thrifted book haul, I’ve got to find a place for all these books on my shelves. This is a part one where I do an impromptu bookshelf tour. Stay tuned for part two where we actually reorganize!🤭📖

“The Someday Garden” by Ashley Poston book review📖

3.5⭐️ Those last few chapters had me boohooing🥹 Ashley Poston books are always magical. This one explored grief so well, I think a lot of people will feel understood by our FMC’s thoughts and struggles. The setting and unexplained magic of the garden felt so special. The side characters were all enjoyable. I struggled with fully enjoying the romance and wished it felt more organic. I did not like the “flirting” or the “banter”. It made me cringe more than feel giddy unfortunately. I like where we ended up and, again, those last few chapters got me for sure😭

The biggest thrifted book haul EVER📚

5 Library Book Sales
4 Ongoing Library Bookstores
3 Used Bookstores
Too many books? NEVER😅

I hope you enjoy this cumulative thrifted book haul from over the last few months. Most of these books were $1 each so there’s a lot🤭
