If you've had a tough time understanding the Hugging Face incident and what exactly happened, watch this video. I thought I fully understood it, but the way this is represented with graphics makes it much more clear.

I vibe created this in an evening after work - with my good friend Claude - after being inspired by a post from Fred Grinstein of Machine Cinema. (I just made it vertical Fred, and gave it a little bit of my design vibes 😉)

𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝘼. The infamous street artist PICCLE P recently did our mural, and it got me thinking a lot about Los Angeles.

You've seen his work all over our city: the heart-headed characters on freeway walls, rooftops, and abandoned storefronts that turned LA artist PICCLE P into “the heart guy” for people who don't even follow street art. Now he's finished a new mural inside our studio, and we're proud to have a piece of LA on our own wall.

Being from here, I feel it's important to represent our city within the walls of Native Foreign. In a time where the future of Hollywood feels uncertain, one thing's for sure: we're staying right here - and continuing to create jobs and opportunities in our community.

Make way for generalists with big ideas. I called this at least year's Brandweek, and it couldn't ring truer today.

In the video I talk about how some of the best DPs I work with are now using AI to pre-vis scenes with me, showcasing some of the work we did for Delta's centennial films last year.

It's amazing seeing vets wrangle the technology, like our lead storyboard artist on Critterz - who also happened to do the 1996 Space Jam!

I'm calling it: 2026 is YEAR ZERO in Hollywood for AI.

If you think about it, cinema has been re-inventing itself for the last century - and this is just the latest installment. As the tools become more ubiquitous, human talent is more in demand than ever when great storytelling is the goal.

Hollywood's on board and you should be too. Let's go!

I’ve always been really interested in how technology can enable storytelling.

From way back when I was a kid editing my backyard shorts in-camera, to more recently when I first starting playing around with early AI tools like Sora - I’ve always looked for ways to unleash my creativity.

With AI tools, I’m able to bring sequences and ideas to life in new ways.
