If you want to know what the word ableist means, here a perfect example.⬇️

Without dubs neither Adam Howitt or I would be able enjoy one of our favorite genres, Japanese Anime. And I get sick of being judged for choosing dubbed over subbed. I'd love to watch shows in the original Japanese. But sorry I don't like dealing with sitting too close to the TV to read English subtitles, and missing what was said cause the words go away too fast. But when you're not visually impaired you don't have to think about. And that, my friends, is ableist. Ok. I'm off my soap box. Have a good day. by @klhowitt84

BHM Day 2!!!
Today I celebrate Willie "Piano Red" Perryman. He was an American Blues Musician. He played in what was called the Barrelhouse Blues style. And he is said to be the first blues musician to hit the pop music charts. ❤️💛💚

Happy Black History Month! Today I celebrate Reverend Jesse Lee Douglas Sr. For many years he was the "unidentified white man" walking with Dr. Martin Luther King. But in fact, he was a black man with albinism who was a minister and friend of Dr. King. So in love with my custom planter!! Husband and brother-in -law did a great job. This is a shared backyard so this is the only way I can garden. I've wanted to grow my own veggies for years and I can't wait to start!!!!!
