This is my first mini tutorial! Quick 5 step taper! 💈

As I continue to do them ill get better with the information and editing the videos 😂 Some of yall have been asking so i hope this is useful!!

Feel free to comment questions!

When i say open/close I’m referring to the lever on the clipper.

•Step 1: Set your guide line/bald line (After cutting hair down to desired length)

•Step 2: With no guard open the lever completely and create your first transition into the taper.

•Step 3: Close the lever completely and gradually open it until the line you created in step 1 is completely faded away.

•Step 4: With a 1 guard you are going to pretty much repeat the same steps starting from step 1 to get rid of the next line/transition created in step 2.

•Step 5: With no guard and the lever completely open you will use your corners of the blade you clean up and dark spots in the taper.

(Hopefully i didn’t miss anything, this is my way & methods may vary from barber to barber) 😅

🎉 5 YEARS OF KLIPPED BY RAH! 💈

Five years ago, I officially took a leap of faith and established Klipped By Rah. But my barbering journey started long before that—back in middle school, cutting my own hair. From there, I started cutting my brothers, then friends, and eventually turned my passion into a full-time career in 2021.

Today, I’m celebrating 5 years in business, and I couldn’t have done it without all of you.

To every client who’s trusted me, referred someone, supported my business, or simply believed in me—THANK YOU. Your loyalty has allowed me to keep doing what I love every single day.

Here’s to five incredible years of growth, great conversations, fresh cuts, and building confidence. I’m excited for what’s next!

Thank you for being part of the journey. ❤️💈
