From Grassroots to Greatness – The Lasting Impact of Community Sport on the Gold Coast, proudly presented by Sports Gold Coast and Southern Cross University.

This Boardroom Lunch brought together leaders from across sport, business, government and education to explore a question that sits at the heart of our city:

What is community sport really worth to the Gold Coast?

Our discussion brought together a diverse range of perspectives, including Monica Bradley, Founder of Purposeful Capital; Professor Judith Mair from Southern Cross University; and Ben Newton OAM, Paralympic gold medallist, Queensland Wheelchair Rugby Head Coach and Southern Cross University Alumnus of the Year.

We explored how the Gold Coast can strengthen the connection between grassroots participation, community impact, business investment, our broader sporting identity, and the role each sector can play in creating a lasting sporting legacy for our city.

Back a few weeks ago ⏮️ We interviewed keynote & panel speakers at @heal.edtribe 's Men Who Matter event ⭐️

Klipstr would like to thank Heal.ed Tribe for having us once again in such a special room. Mens mental health is often overlooked & disregarded.

Even as boys growing up on the Gold Coast (a literal paradise), sh*t happens and we need people to talk too. Making videos was an escape for me but even the funnest of hobbies aren't enough sometimes.

The truth is, no matter who you are, mental health challenges exist & its organisations like Healed Tribe that are worth donating too.

As a new business, we’re constantly tackling new projects! Generally, the projects only get bigger and bigger. Our latest is Pharmacy Connect 2026.

Hosted at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney, this massive conference had over 2000 delegates, a 90 stand trade exhibition and numerous workshops.

Klipstr sorted their video content, capturing everything from the workshops, to interviewing delegates in the trade hall, to even interviewing the NSW Premier…

You’ll see a full event recap video posted soon, but if you check out the Pharmacy Connect Facebook page, you’ll see daily wrap videos posted ON THE DAY they happened.
