A dream visit happens during the @geneva_watch_days this year for us! Red was one of the five.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons in red. Koons only ever made five original Balloon Dog sculptures, one colour each, and red was one of them. This is the loudest of the three watches by a distance and it does not apologise for it.

Anodised aluminium, creased and puffed up so it catches the light the way real mylar does. Oversized crown with a rubber knot on it like the tied end of a balloon. Rubber tail at 10:30. Koons’s signature at 6 o’clock, and a seconds hand with a balloon dog on the end of it, going round and round all day.

42mm by 11mm, automatic HUB1710 on a Zenith Elite base, 50 hours of power reserve, 50m water resistance, red debossed leather over a red rubber strap. 200 pieces, CHF 20,800.

If you’re going to wear a balloon dog on your wrist, you may as well commit.

This week Oris dropped the latest edition of the Cervo Volante Edition with a stunning red burgundy dial and a dark brown deer leather strap.

This watch is just perfect for the autumn days 🍁🍁. In my opinion after the orange dial last year the burgundy dial ist absolutely fantastic. Thoughts? Write it in the comments below ⬇️

But why it’s called the Cervo Volante Edition? Oris made this series in collaboration with the company Cervo Volante who made beautiful goods made by deer leather. Again this is an other sustainable collaboration as Oris always do. 🦌

Pre-owned @rolex Daytona prices fell 44% from their 2022 peak. But zoom out to the 2016 launch and the story changes: $12,400 at retail, around $27,500 today.

The crash was just the hype leaving.
