I had this AMAZING opportunity to meet and photograph 11yo athlete @baseballashlynn77 , Mom too! at @velvetseasonstudios with @__missymoo__ 😍

What an incredible day we all had creating magic together ✨
This was Mom's fav pose...ours too 😍

Can't wait to share what else we came up with!

FYI...Since then she has hit a grand slam AND joined the U16 Team Ontario. I mean...this girl is on 🔥🔥🔥 and most humble. Wishing her and her team an awesome season!!!!

Jack did such an amazing job on his baseball portraits ⚾
Loved working with natural and mixed light.

Processed with a little bit of contrast and white balance toning.
ZERO Retouching. ZERO AI.

What a beautiful day for a photo shoot ☀️ I have been JONSING to shoot here and the timing couldn't have been more perfect! Had an amazing session with @iamstacybrown_ and her daughter, aspiring #WNBA athlete Miki 🏀⭐ We created images for social media and her sponsorship portfolio. I just love working with kids and their parents. 🫶 And Miki's passion for the game is undeniable. Can't wait to start in on these images!

Had an amazing day with @west.hill.baseball ⚾
And wow was it ever hot 🥵 but the parents and kids did fantastic 🙌 Shoutout to the volunteers who make this league possible 🫶

About the set up:
I prefer to use baseball elements when I can for traditional backdrops. Here I'm setting up 2 sets behind the diamond and used the sun to my advantage for sidelight on the 2nd set for the individuals. (This helps with squinting)

I dont always need open shade since I make my own light but if I can, Ill use the sun to my advantage and use it as a highlight or backlight💡 Absolutely LOVE being wireless with the @godoxlighting system and @strobepro rapid softboxes - best investment I ever made - they take 10-20mins off my set up time. Every min counts when you are a freelancer!
