"a love letter to the future" opened this week @recinto_cerra organized by @_fernandopintado, and bringing NYC artists to PR. I'm extremely grateful this project brought me down here. My mobile "Currency" will be up for a month in Santurce. In a fraught political climate art can seem trivial, but I thought about the power of both exchanging and suppressing cultures. The Trump administration's use of censorship proves how influential and valuable art can be.

I donated a work to Postcards from the Edge. It's a benefit show to raise $$ for @visual_aids. The preview opens this Friday, January 23rd at 6:00pm at Berry Campbell Gallery @ 525 W 26th St. The sale is anonymous and all postcard size 4"x6" works are $100.

FYI there is $10 admission to see the show, but the fees are also donated and on a sliding scale. It's worth it!

You can score some rad pieces for cheap, check it out! The sale goes live Saturday morning at 10am on postcards.visualaids.org. by @klumpn

Happy to end the year discovering my new painting hero Vanessa Horabuena. Just saw this live painting of Jesus she created and auctioned for over $2 million today at Mar-a-lago. She's branded her style, "live Christian worship painting." by @klumpn

The first couple photos suck, but wanted to shout out @estefaniavelezart on making the coolest handmade watercolors with the weirdest light, partially opaque neons and amazing slightly sparkly granulating colors. Finally found a moment to pull these out and try them last night, looking forward to playing with them more! Check out Estefania's incredible color charts and affordable travel sets. She's got every color you could think of.
