I’m discovering that these chairs might have been made in the 1700s. The seat is hand woven. They are made in America. Many were painted with a traditional blue color. The chairs were produced between 1740 and 1800 and you can identify them by the hand turned spindles that you see at the top of the back and on the lower spindle.

The chair is rock, solid, and still totally usable.

Tessa LeBaron’s paintings are so fun, colorful and whimsical. This show is a must-see. My favorite is the woman surrounded by burning flowers and she’s got a watering can. The contrast of water and fire gives the piece some mystery, but clearly theres some passion here.

So many great pieces. Stop by today or this weekend! @tessla_art #thedivinefeminine #flowerchild #fireandwater by @kluthgallery

Her use of color, her fine illustrative style and her depiction of the feminjne connection to the natural world create a magical realism that is both mysterious and enchanting. #artexhibition #magicalrealusm #clevelandart by @kluthgallery
