A time with family, a time with our K. McCarthy friends, a little southbound-on-I65 adventure with of course… a quick stop at Dolly’s Tennessean Truck Stop! 💕🤠

But our favorite part? YOU. Every person who stopped by K. McCarthy today to spread a little love, light & laughter just like Dolly. 💗✨

One of my favorite things about going to New York every fall is that it always feels like we get a little preview of the fall weather headed our way… and y’all, IT’S TIME!!

Sunday Funday indeed! In My Sundays launch day event was such fun! A day spent w/ Sis on the farm was the best! Gimme All. The. Pajamas., designing charm necklaces, @inmysundays Swag bag full, iced lattes, popcorn in my favorite snake print (the pajama pair we both came home w/ today!!), embroidery booth & charcuterie ANY DAY! So much fun with @inmysundays & @malloryervin in the most beautiful venue! It feels different to be in this city today. Quiet and somber, and yet somehow full of hope.

Walking through the city this morning, people are looking up. Looking each other in the eyes. Saying good morning. Saying “God bless you.” There’s a tenderness here that feels different.

We’ve met people and heard their stories from that day — stories of heartbreak, but also story after story of people who ran toward one another. Who showed up. Who helped. Strangers taking care of strangers.

It feels a little like standing in the space between — holding the depth of the loss, while also remembering what came after.

The way people came together. The way our nation united. The way, in the midst of unimaginable darkness, there was still so much goodness.

And in that, there is great hope.

Hope in people. Hope in the way we can show up for one another. Hope against all odds.

Grateful to be in this city today. To listen to the stories. To remember. To honor. And to never forget. 🤍 by @kmamomx2

Living, Giving, Willing, Forgiving, Loving, Knowing, Growing, Healing, Shining, Refining + focus on where we’re Going! 🦋💗✝️
We’ve all been waking up, going to sleep with @dollyparton on our minds, in our ears & in our hearts. Pretty amazing the stories being shared, nostalgic & reminiscing over all the clips being shown from the 70s, 80s, 90s especially the ones w/ @_kennyrogers @barbaramandrellmusic, flipping through stories in @addiep03 & @fordaustin_4 @imaginationlibrary complete collections x2, listening to all of her albums on shuffle in the car, at the house and @kmccarthynashville & even watched Steele Magnolias + 9 to 5 this weekend like so many others~ so motivated to living with these lessons we all love & know!
