Now this looks like a job for us.

A blank canvas. An empty (and maybe even disorganized) slate. And designing it all like it was made for YOU.

This is exactly what we do. From the color palette to the linens, the florals to the lighting, every element is intentionally chosen to reflect your love story. No detail is too small, no nuance overlooked.

And while you are getting ready for the biggest day of your life, our team is onsite putting it all together, overseeing every last detail so you can walk into a room that feels completely and uniquely you (even in Italy, like this one was!).

Does this even need a caption? 😍 Probably not... but since you're here, let's talk about 3 things you should know before planning a destination wedding.

1️⃣ Start earlier than you think.

Between securing a venue, coordinating vendors, and giving guests enough time to book travel, a little extra runway goes a long way. The earlier you start, the more options you have.

2️⃣ Your guests need a travel guide, not just a save the date.

Think beyond the wedding day itself. Accommodation blocks, travel logistics, welcome dinners, and day-after activities all become part of the experience when guests are flying in from out of town. The more you plan for them, the more everyone can simply enjoy it.

3️⃣ Work with someone who has done this before.

Destination weddings come with a different set of challenges than a local wedding. Time zones, unfamiliar vendor markets, and on-the-ground coordination require experience you can't Google your way through. Having a planner who has been there makes all the difference.

Destination weddings are one of our favorite things to plan, and we have the experience to prove it. Let's make your dream day a reality... wherever in the world that might be. 🥰

If you just got engaged and you’re wondering whether it’s too soon to reach out to a wedding planner, it’s not. It’s actually the perfect time.

A planner isn’t just someone who shows up on your wedding day. We are with you from the very first planning call, helping you build a vision, set a realistic budget, and connect with the right vendors before the best ones are gone.

At KMC, we intentionally limit how many couples we work with each year. It’s how we make sure every single person we work with feels like the only couple we have. And because of that, we book up early.

The sooner we start, the more of the journey we get to share together. And honestly? That journey is one of our favorite things about this work.

Newly engaged? We would love to hear from you. Link in bio.

Dreaming of saying "I do" somewhere beyond the Midwest?? A destination wedding might be calling your name.

If you and your partner are travel addicts at heart, love the idea of an extended celebration with your closest people, or want a wedding that feels like an unforgettable escape - a destination wedding could be the perfect fit.

Here's what makes destination weddings special: they're not just a single day. They're a full experience. Think welcome dinners, group adventures, and days spent celebrating with the people who matter most. Your wedding becomes a trip everyone will remember forever.

But they do require thoughtful planning. We recommend starting at least a year ahead - just like you'd plan a big trip. You'll need time to research locations, understand local vendors and timelines, navigate logistics, and give your guests plenty of notice to make travel arrangements.

The beauty? Working with vendors abroad means embracing a different pace. Things move slower, communication takes patience, and flexibility becomes your friend. But when you have a team who understands how to navigate it all, the journey becomes part of the joy.

We've planned weddings in places like Italy, Mexico and Hawaii and we're gearing up for celebrations in Florence, Siena and Maine. If a destination wedding is on your heart, let's talk about bringing your vision to life - wherever in the world that might be.

DM us to start the conversation for your 2027 destination wedding. 🤍

WINE WINDOWS OF FLORENCE. We hit 11 in 3 days and it was a good time exploring more areas of the city while searching these out. Highly recommend. 🍷🥂

How many did you make it to?
