Well… start to my trip turned into my 2nd flight being cancelled and me being stuck in Chicago for the night…
Was on the plane and up the strip and then they told us they were told to go back to a gate and unboard… then it turned into they cancelled it due to inclement weather coming into Fargo…

I’m running off of a solid 30-45 minutes of sleep in the span of 24hrs due to working yesterday and having a 7a (est) and can barely keep my eyes open nor even coherently think “wtf do I do” because I have never ran into this before…

Just thank GOD I was able to my room when I got to the hotel early, that’s been the only win I’ve had today, but I will take it with the circumstances I was given.

I also am so appreciative and thankful of Jordon Groves and his Dad for willing to drive to Fargo to pick me up since it was going to be cheaper for me to fly to Fargo, than directly into Winnipeg, but I am so sorry you’re in this mess with me now and also are stuck till I get there (because the weather is bad, they can’t go back home either) 😭

Figured I’d updated everyone to know, I’m good now. 1 flight done, I have a bed to sleep in, I thankfully bought some snacks earlier but I’ll probably get more food later, and at least my flight is early in the morning tomorrow…

I have the BEST sisters anyone could ask for. These girls showed up and watched me run my first meet of the season even with it being a late night Friday meet! (This isn’t even everyone who came!) And they’re already planning on coming next Saturday too that is home. Delta Zeta has given me best friends for life and I couldn’t have asked for a better sisterhood. #gogreek! #godeltazeta!
