saying goodbye to one of my favorite venues in the city this weekend 🖤

@ourwickedlady has been a home to so many of my musical projects and experiments over the years! it’s been a dependable platform for countless local and touring bands, and I’ve had many deliciously stiff-necked mornings after thrashing around watching my friends play on their stage.

we are so lucky to have had this space as long as we did. it will be an honor to play her out this saturday with @debbiedopamine.

we will not go gentle into that goodnight ❤️‍🔥

Grateful for another year of existence as a conscious speck of dust on a silly little rock hurdling through the universe

it’s fucking weird

to exist on the same plane as jellyfish, honeysuckle, rollerskating, and french fries

and all of you

to pursue a life filled with art and creativity

to know queerness and continued curiosity

and also The Horrors

to write silly little half-poems on a silly little app to tell you all thank you, I love you, let’s keep doing this, shall we?

magical summer sunshine vibes for Big Queer Street Day this saturday! been cooking this up with @purgatory.bk for some time ~

we’re shutting down the street for a block party and hosting an all ages outdoor concert, field day games, a market of lgbtq vendors, DJs, drag, a charity raffle, harm reduction supplies, and a fucking DUNK TANK 💦 💦

in addition to all funds raised by the raffle, all net profits will be donated to the Brooklyn Community Pride Center @lgbtbrooklyn to support their ongoing resources for our community 💖

the festivities are open to ALL and you can support w/ a donation at the link in bio ~ this is an independently funded event so every little bit helps 🫶

come find me in the street 🤸‍♂️☀️🌈✨🏖️ by @kmortizx
