I like that thing you’re doing with your hands 🤪

This past week I decided to be more consistent with content and I’ve seen a huge jump in engagement, followers and reach. The hard part has been getting in front of the camera since I’m always behind one. Special thanks to @kevinlubinmedia for encouraging the shenanigans 😆

And thanks to all of your for your continued support. Don’t forget to use your hands and like this post 👏🏽

As I spend my last day as Employee of the Month at FIRST Institute, I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come.

What started as simply sharing my passion for photography has grown into something much bigger. I’m building connections, guiding future creatives, and constantly challenging myself to level up as an educator and artist.

This recognition isn’t just about a title; it’s a reminder that hard work and heart can take you further than you ever imagined.

Here’s to more growth, more creativity, and more moments that remind me why I love what I do.

This week I had a photo featured in Her Art Works: An Ode to Black Women. An art installment experience meant to take you on a visual journey through the stigmas and beauty of Black Women that are adversely impacted by HIV.

I entitled my photo “Undaunted Warriors” with the description “Undaunted Warriors encapsulates the unyielding spirit of women challenging societal stigmas with unwavering courage, resilience, and determination.”

I also had 2 other photos featured from the many other events held in conjunction with @blkroomproject @talktesttreatcfl @orlandochaptersos this year. We went on an incredible journey advocating for Black Women by highlighting the disparities in HIV cases amongst women. Black women who live in Orange County are 12 times more likely to contract HIV than their white counter parts.

Happy World Photography Day!

2026 marks 200 years since the first photograph!! Back in 1826, French inventor Joseph Nicephore Niepce created the world’s first photographic image. Swipe to slide 2 to see the masterpiece 🤣 “View from the Window at Le Gras” had an exposure time of about 8 hours by a process called heliography.

Forever grateful for photography as it gave me purpose in life. I love teaching the next generation of photographers 📸 taken in FL Institute of Recording, Sound, and Technology by @kmosnaps

It’s my 48th birthday! 🎂

Reflecting on life in my late 40s and honestly I’m happy as I’ve ever been. I have an amazing career as a college instructor and I get to photograph cool stuff like ice hockey at Kia Center. It took a while but I’m living my passion. I highly recommend always pursuing whatever makes YOU happy! taken in Kia Center by @kmosnaps

I had the opportunity to photograph at the Kia Center again last month! That was my 2nd time for hockey and 3rd time overall to shoot at Kia! This time though I went out on the ice to capture team photos. What an awesome experience. I owe it to the relationships I’ve created through @cfinline ⭐️ thank you taken in Kia Center by @kmosnaps

I thought when I quit a “regular” 9 to 5 and started photography full time that I was finally doing what I love for a living. Then when I started to teach photography, I realized I’m doing what I love but also now with passion and purpose. Helping other people to pursue their dreams has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

Congrats to all the 2025 grads 🫶🏼💜💜 taken in Orlando, Florida by @kmosnaps
