Golden light spilling through the trees at Central Park, the handpan ringing soft, metallic echoes into the 75° air. Each note floats like it already belongs here—kids laughing in the distance, wind brushing leaves, everything syncing into one slow breath. This is what it feels like when you don’t rush the moment… you just play inside it.

Handpan live session pt 1.

I plan on recording a multi series of different locations and different vibes. Also within collaboration of the flute, I’m going to be starting to gather more information on starting a mindfulness meditation public session here in Pasadena and surrounding cities! I invite you to join me with the hand pan and flutes as we go through a guided meditation together, and with they added sound bath and working on listening practices. There will be more to come so stay tuned and I’m excited to see. Hopefully some of you guys there! taken in Pasadena, California by @knifesse

Well we graduated with an associates of the arts in Bass performance. Never thought I would see the day to finish high school let alone graduate college. Proud of all of my colleagues and everyone who have been privileged to be able to work with over the past few years, I’ll be around out here in California so if you ever need a bassist, you know who to ask!✌️😁😁 goodbye college hello next chapter🎓👌👌 taken in LACM: Los Angeles College of Music by @knifesse

Back in the garage again, but this time you’re seeing it exactly how I do—recording through the Meta glasses while the drone flute fills the space. Late night, max reverb, concrete turning every note into something bigger than itself. It’s wild being able to capture the actual perspective of the sound—like you’re right there with me as it builds and echoes. This is a whole new layer for the album and the visuals, and I’ve got a lot more of this on the way. Appreciate you being here for all of it. Back in LA in the parking garage, late night and max reverb — tracking more layers for the album while the concrete turns everything into a cathedral. There’s something about these after-hours sessions that just hits different… quieter city, deeper tones, longer echoes. I’m stacking visuals too — gRaTti x KNIFESSE videos coming soon, and they’re going to feel just as immersive as the sound. Thank you for riding with me through airports, deserts, waterfalls, kitchens, and garages — this project keeps growing because of that energy. Standing by a frozen waterfall, everything locked in ice and silence, the drone flute felt like the only thing still moving. Cold air, frozen flow, and sound drifting where the water used to rush—it’s wild how a place can completely change but still hold the same energy. Moments like this remind me why I keep chasing sound in these spaces. More is coming, and I’m grateful you’re here for it. Back at Denver Airport, cold again at 24°, letting the triple-drone flute hum through the space while everything around me stays in motion. There’s something powerful about playing here—people rushing, wheels rolling, announcements echoing—then the sound cuts through and creates a tiny pocket of calm. These moments keep shaping what’s coming next, and I’m grateful you’re along for it. And as always, using code “KNIFESSE” at checkout gets you 20% off your order.

Back at the cascading waters—but this time they’re completely frozen over, 17 degrees, everything locked in stillness. Same spot, totally different energy. Playing the drone flute here felt wild, like the sound was moving where the water couldn’t, drifting over ice and cold air instead. I love coming back to places and letting the seasons remix the vibe—these contrasts keep feeding the sound and the journey. So much more coming as I keep chasing these moments, and if you use my code “KNIFESSE” at checkout, you’ll get 20% off your order.
