Lastly, we had a bit of time for some solo shooting with @partigraphy 😌
Even though I felt bad for @suikyo_cos since he almost died due to the heat and only after the shooting we were able to revive him with some ice cream later on (unfortunately the café didn’t allow take-outs)
Nevertheless, it was a unique experience (we’re not planning on going to cosplay heavy layered cosplays over 30 degrees + in the future 🤣) and I’m glad that somehow we were able to re-create the typical self-stabbing pose during her boss fight 🖤

Was I envious when @suikyo_cos killed the boss on the first try in-game? Yes 👀
Even though he was able to defeat her easily in-game, it doesn't mean that the next time will be easier 🗡️

Lately, my life has been catching up on me - meaning most of the time is invested at work and working on my thesis and having less time for editing or other hobbies.
Therefore, @suikyo_cos and I were thinking about trying something new for the Dokomi.
Thanks to @tugoshde story post recommending @partigraphy back then, we contacted her and organized a little Bloodborne duo shooting for the first Dokomi day - which we couldn't be happier about and are really glad about 😄
Even though the heat on the day almost killed us both, we are glad that we survived well - especially since it was really fun shooting with @partigraphy 😌🖤

Guess who’s sailing off to wipe down the people from the Fishing Hamlet, and investigating - in the name of the Healing Church - signs of a Great Old One 🤫

Guess who really proved the idea that Bloodborne cosplayers look like pirates without any context? 😆
I had to improvise a lot on the day of the shoot since my prop didn’t arrive in time.
So I used my imagination and got creative, using the ship as inspiration for Lady Maria before she entered the Healing Church. I asked myself, “What happened before the Fishing Hamlet incident and what was she like?”
My face was probably a bit out of character, but I was too happy wearing the cosplay for the first time and couldn’t stop smiling 🥹

I had to change my image-upload sequence because it’s Lady Maria, and one of my most anticipated and current cosplays I’m wearing so far ♥️
It took me more than a year to assemble the whole cosplay (after getting scammed once). Also, it’s the first time I've worn a blonde wig, so it took me longer to find a colour that I think suits me best.
I’m still unsure and a bit insecure if those bright coloured wigs suit me, but I kept my promise to myself that if I’d ever cosplay someone with blonde hair, then it should be Lady Maria 🫡

Also, a big shoutout to the people of Sozialwerk Vorpommern e.V., who allowed us to get on the ship and shoot some incredible images there, additionally serving us with the best Soljanka I’ve tasted in a long time 🛥🥹♥️

Sadly, I can’t participate in this year’s @fromsoft_meetup_ger , but hopefully next year there’ll be a chance to take part in the meet-up 🥲

Since almost everybody is uploading some images the days before Dokomi, I decided to join the conspiracy and finish the “image row” from the shooting at the castle on the last day of LBM 😆

Finally, I made it to upload an image in the actual year after the con 😆
This year, with @chrislyverse and @desertrose.cos , we shot some images at their local castle since it suited both of the franchises we cosplayed that day. No cake was harmed that day 😂
An honourable mention is that 80% of this cosplay was literally sponsored by @desertrose.cos 🤣
