Visited a small town fiber festival and found some local PNW treasures. Undyed wool/angora blend from the woman who raised the sheep and rabbits, undyed 100% llama from a local farm, some “mystery mohair” from a woman running a destash booth, several moth-deterring herb sachets from a local grower, and some wool byproducts to use as soil amendments in my garden! Finally a Finished Object picture! Pattern is Macrame, knit with Cascade Hampton, a cotton/linen blend. Picture taken at @nidakaydesigns where I picked up one of her luscious hand-dyed skeins, a baby alpaca/merino blend in a gorgeous tonal hot pink. It immediately became a squishy beanie! 😁🧶 by @knitashaknits

Maybe not a big deal to everyone, but I’m so proud of myself for finishing the short row shaping on this project. I usually omit short rows on projects so I haven’t had a lot of practice, and this did require frogging back and restarting. Also learned how to drop down to resolve wraps that I’d missed in previous rows so that was cool. Anyway, that part is finished!! Yayyyyyyy. Now I get to coast for a bit before I start the lacework 😁🧶 #workinprogress #sundaymorningstitching by @knitashaknits

Weekend recap: Big Bear Wine Walk sans tickets (sold out when we were next in line! 🫣) but no worries, we wine tasted at Barrel 33, and shopped a bit in the Village. We raked leaves Sunday morning then enjoyed tre beautiful weather and clean mountain air in the afternoon. So nice to get away with a friend for a couple of days 😃 by @knitashaknits
