#KnitPro by @knitproasia

It started with just one hook and a little curiosity… 🧶✨
ㅤ
At first, crochet was simply something you wanted to try. Then, one stitch became a project, one project became a habit, and somewhere along the way, crochet became a part of your everyday life. ❤️
ㅤ
A creative escape. A moment of calm. A way to express yourself, connect with others, and turn a simple strand of yarn into something meaningful.
ㅤ
This International Crochet Day, celebrate not just what you create, but the journey crochet takes you on. 🧶💫
ㅤ
Happy International Crochet Day! 🧡

I'd like to share a little trick I learned- especially since knitting with small yarns and needles is still a bit challenging for me 🤣 maybe this will help someone else!

First- how do you purl? Over? Or under?

I’ve always been a purl-under knitter. 🧶 Especially since I knit Continental.

It’s just what feels the most natural to me, especially when I’m working with teeny tiny needles like these. I find it helps me keep my tension nice and even, especially on something fiddly like a sock heel flap.

If you catch me knitting through the back loop in this reel, don’t worry—I’m doing it on purpose. 😆 After I turn the heel, I knit through the back loop to untwist those stitches before I keep going (one of the little quirks of purling under!).

That’s one of the things I love about knitting. There are so many different techniques, and none of them are “wrong” if they get you the fabric you want. We all have our own little habits and shortcuts, and I think that’s part of what makes knitting so much fun. 💙

Also… can we talk about these KnitPro needles for a second? ✨ They’ve been such a joy to knit with. The joins are super smooth, the tips are perfect for sock knitting, and I love being able to switch needle sizes without digging through a drawer full of fixed circulars. They’ve definitely earned a permanent spot in my project bag.

Now tell me…

Are you Team PurlOver or Team PurlUnder,
Or Team whatever-gets-the-job-done? 🤣👇🧶

A year ago I got @knitproeu their set of crochet hooks, since then I learned how to knit so now it was time to try out their new Grande Interchangeable Needle Set Symfonie 2 set!🧶

This set contains twelve (12!) different sizes of knitting needles, 6 flexible cables and loads of accessoiries including a tape measure, scissors, and stitch markers! ✂️📏

This beautiful set definetly inspired to pick up my knitting needles again, after I focussed the past months on moving houses and renovating our new house. 🏠🪴

I will definitely keep you updated about my experience with these needles, if they are just as great as my Crochet Needles from them, then I will probably never use my other needles again😂
