finished this back in april!! i bought this gorgeous ball of noro and matching buttons from the quarter stitch on a trip to new orleans a year ago. it paired perfectly with an extra skein of avenue yarns pouffe i had leftover from my lakes cardigan to knit up this clematis vest🪻the perfect fun and funky vest for spring!!

things have been..... busy!! and interesting!! recently!! sometimes for fun reasons and sometimes for less fun reasons

but through it all i have been making things with my two human hands with and for humans that i love🙂‍↕️

closing out 2025 by showing my winter accessories the weather they were meant to see....including my freshly finished (modified) balabonnet!!

another triple stranded scrap yarn project 🤧 and i used 1x1 rib instead of stockinette for the ties!!

this was such a joyful stash busting project....and i could not be happier with the result!!!!

this cardigan took over my pinterest feed for a minute and i'm so glad i finally made it. it truly flew off my needles and took a delightful chunk out of my stash

highly highly recommend this (free!!!) pattern if you're in need of a fun stash buster 🌀

the fish family continues to grow....this guy has been hanging out on my work bag, holding my sunglasses!! super important job with all of the sunny days we've had recently in sf 🌞

🌀 scrappy lakes pullover 🌀 using almost all of the partially used skeins of purple/purple adjacent sock yarn in my stash

i used the lakes pullover pattern as a base, and held sock yarn triple, switching out one strand every 5-6 rounds or so (technique from @theknitedit)🪻 and i used a russian join when swapping out yarns, so i had almost no ends to weave in!!

the lakes patterns are so fun to knit as always, the resulting sweater has a nice weight to it from the yarn held triple, and my stash is feeling a whole lot lighter!!! a delight to knit and a delight to wear!!

i was so inspired by @katiealicemakes's version of this top that i literally dropped all my other WIPs to make it!!

so so happy with how the star cut out turned out and im so proud of the finished product!! knitting is so cool bc what do you mean i made this with my own two hands...

if i had a nickel for every time i knit a purple sweater with a saddle shoulder.....i would have two nickels!! which isn't a lot!! but it's weird that it happened twice 🤔🤔🤔

ok it's actually not that weird lol

another instant staple in my closet!! i am obsessed with my #lakespullover so when the cardigan version dropped i knew it would be the perfect pattern for the yarn i picked up from the 2025 @bayareayarncrawl 💜

next......i see a #lakespullovervneck in my future to complete the trifecta

i've been wanting another comfy cozy pullover for the chilly sf summer!! and this yarn and pattern combo fits the bill perfectly 🩶

this was such a delight!! the unique construction was so fun to knit and the chainette yarn was (and is) so incredibly soft ☁️
