POSTS STORIES REELS

I haven’t posted here in a while because life has looked a little different lately. Our family is growing by 1 in November! 💖
Anyways, here is a baby loon sweater (test knit earlier this year for @cm_knits_) and the second slide is a Baby Aosta Sweater (pattern by @the_knit_purl_girl) that I’m currently working on!
I haven’t had as much time to knit lately with all the baby prep around the house, but getting some knitting in when I have the time ☺️ by @knitspurlation

Light As A Feather Socks 🪶🧦
These were my first toe up socks and first time using DK-weight yarn for socks. I’m so pleased with how they came out and I’ll definitely be doing more toe up/DK socks!

Pattern: Light As A Feather Socks by @songbirdhandmade (I did make some modifications)
Yarn: Hawthorne DK by @knit_picks in Springfield Tonal

Fisherman’s Wharf Sweater 🦭🌁

I learned a new skill with this one, as it was my first time doing half fisherman’s rib. This was such a fun one to test knit and it flew off my needles!

Pattern: Fishermans’s Wharf Sweater by @postcard_knits
Yarn: @harrisvilledesigns Highland in Adobe

Franklin Sweater 🧬🔬🧪

I am so thrilled to have been able to test knit this sweater, which honors Rosalind Franklin and her contributions to science. We have Rosalind Franklin to thank for our understanding of the structure of DNA, and at the time she did not get the recognition she deserved. As a scientist, it was extra special to knit a sweater dedicated to her! 💚

Pattern: Franklin Sweater test knit for @tyndalhashobbies
Yarn: @knit_picks Wool of the Andes in Opal Heather

Just put together my make 9 for the upcoming year! There’s some repeats from last year that I did not get to, as well as some new projects that’s I’m really looking forward to casting on 🎊♥️

Bike Path Sweater fresh off the needles and out for a fall walk 🚲🍂

I frogged another project that I wasn’t loving the fit of and reused this gorgeous yarn for this test knit and I’m so glad I did. I think this sweater is so fun and deserves to be showcased in a vibrant yarn! I love the stitch definition and drape I got, because the texture of this sweater is everything

This is your sign to frog that project that you don’t love and make something that you do love instead. 💙🐸

Pattern: Bike Path Sweater (test knit) by @boardlizzy (out soon!)
