POSTS STORIES REELS

I've been working on something special for a couple months now, and it's finally LIVE!! If you have ever wanted to embroider on your knit and felt like you didn't know how, this is for YOU. I've put together a full, instant-access online workshop that is 2 hours long and we start from the absolute beginning, even if you've never embroidered ANYTHING before! I'm so excited to share this all with you!

What about materials, you ask? The course comes with the downloadable pdf files you need to print your own, but I also put together a stick and stitch pack (including the floss) that you can get to follow along and have it all ready to go.

Any questions? Want to know more? Let me know in the comments, I'll respond to every one! 😊

I finished these Roma Mitts from @eweknitto Threads of Memory collection, and I love them. First of all, I LOVE fingerless mitts. As someone who is always a little bit cold, they are so useful to me!

These are a lovely stash buster, where I held a mystery single ply skein of grey yarn with a beautiful mohair from @cosyposyyarnco and I love the result. They are soft as a cloud!

Are you as excited for fingerless mitts season as I am?? by @knittedblissjc

Life lately: a sleeve I'm working on for the Burgundy Vines pullover by @eweknitto , last night at the launch for....

#ThreadsofMemory , the new pattern collection from Claudia! I knit a pair of fingerless mitts from it already, photos to come soon....

This was @thebluebrickish rescuing me last weekend after my car broke down, due to the front right tire of my car just... Exploding? Disintegrating? I don't know.

There is the tire! I manage to drive a shocking amount of distance in it before I truly couldn't keep it on the road anymore 😂 I don't recommend that.

@woolstockon friends! I love seeing fibre livestock. The white llama was friendly, the cinnamon alpaca was a little shy.

Emotional support chickens with their own barn @woolstockon !

Finally photographed come of the beautiful yarn from @stixandstonesnb I got at #sudburystitchfest . I absolutely love the colour, no idea what I'm going to knit. I bought it with no plan!

These lovely DK skeins from. @thefrostedstitch are already on the needles- one skein is destined to be a hat, the other some matching fingerless mitts. Will there be embroidery? You betcha!! by @knittedblissjc

🚨 UNLIMITED GNOMES ARE HERE. 🚨

The Gnomes Being Gnomes Stick & Stitch digital download is officially ready! 🍄🧵

Download it. Print it. Stitch it. Print it again.

Because once you own the digital file, you can print it as many times as you like — which means you can stitch these little whimsical buddies on sweaters, tote bags, patches, gifts… basically anything that will hold still long enough.

All the gnomes. Forever. ❤️

Go forth and populate the world with tiny embroidered gnomes. by @knittedblissjc

It's been busy behind the scenes here at KBS HQ! Prepping for shows- like today's @fibrespirit in Barrie, come say hi!- and for the gnomes pre-order with @imagined_landscapes. My dining room is a chaotic flood of floss and yarn and gnome stick & stitch, and I wouldn't have it any other way. 💖🍄🌿 by @knittedblissjc

Sarah and I are so excited for you to stitch these wonky, whimsical, woodland gnomes!! by @knittedblissjc

Our second class with Julie @knittedblissjc Bliss on Saturday, August 8th is from 1pm until 3:30.

For the bird class, we're focusing on long and short stitch, which is perfect for stitching animals and birds. We'll also cover straight stitch and satin stitch.

The two classes together would set up anyone for any embroidery project they wanted to tackle!

The embroidery kit is included in this class. All you need to bring is something to embroider and have fun!!!

The hardest part of being a designer isn't the designing...

It's that every time I sit down to knit or embroider, I'm surrounded by projects I can't share... yet😂 it's a wonderful problem to have, but it also means I've been a little quieter around here.

So while we wait for the NEW, here's me dissolving the stabilizer from the Rose Bouquet stick & stitch. 💖💐💖

What are you making this week? Secret or not-so-secret? 🤫
