What a mess #wipwednesday

Got some work on all projects while on a boat filling my freezer last week, traded my phone for a good buck! 🦌

(My phone fell out of my pocket crawling across the alpine after a deer, it's gone)

Cashmere waffle polo by @sascha_knits is still going strong, switched over to sleeve #2

Got some cables done on the kids aran sweater back.

Seeing lots of progress on the #embraceoctopussweater going quick with the bulky yarn!

Loving the @ewetopiayarn fine helix color transition on my #antipodes by @dreareneeknits the body colorwork is almost finished!

Technically not a WIP but sharing because it's fresh on needles. Gauge swatch for #bountifulsweater by @maya.tinks is spot on! Going to order more @blueskyfibers woolstok worsted today! by @knitwit.ak

My first colorwork sweater was this #stegosweater by @hunthandknits

Unfortunately I had to do the yoke twice to learn some important tensioning skills. This project was a great teacher with the treasure trove of tips and tricks that can be found in Mary's patterns! I still use most of the techniques I learned through this pattern on all my sweaters.

I was initially disappointed to not have a center dino on the yoke, but the sleeve stegos line up perfectly for shoulder caps, perfectly framed by a vest!

I formed a love for @junipermoonfarm yarns from this project and find myself going to their corner in my local yarn shop @therookeryfibershop for most of my projects. I used Patagonia organic merino for this project and it has held up well from almost a year of frequent wear.

Where am I #wipwednesday

Cashmere Waffle-polo @sascha_knits has the first sleeve on hold, casted on second sleeve!

Kids cable sweater was untouched this week.

Finished the main body chart on #embraceoctopussweater by Maia E Sirnes and casted on the first sleeve.

Got the front and back connected on #antipodes by @dreareneeknits and started the body chart, this sweater is going much faster than expected for a fingering weight yarn! by @knitwit.ak

Down to 4 WIP Wednesday!

Cashmere Waffle-polo by @sascha_knits has a sleeve started with @officialchiaogoo twist shorties (absolute game changer for sleeves, socks, and tiny knits!) Body still on hold to hopefully get the perfect length!

Kids cabled sweater is slowly growing, I should get it done before temps drop any further, but the other WIPs are more exciting!

Almost halfway through the main body chart on #embraceoctopussweater by Maia E Sirnes loving watching the tentacles appear! The @junipermoonfarm
La Pampa is an enjoyable bulky yarn and a great palate cleanser from my other thinner yarn WIPs and is knitting up quick!

#antipodes by @dreareneeknits is officially started with the saddle shoulder finished and the back coming along nicely. Excited to start the colorwork soon! Loving the combo of @debbieblissknits fine Donegal-autumn gold and @ewetopiayarn helix fine-woodsy

Way too many #wipwednesday

Cashmere Waffle-polo @sascha_knits has a collar! I skipped some steps to have a better fit for try ons. Planning to start a sleeve next since I finished a skein on the body, and want to get the perfect length on the body.

Figured out the heel and finished the first Autumnal Leaf sock and the second is coming along nicely. Plan to finish this week, but I'm distracted with other shiny new WIPs!✨️

On to the NEW!

Casted on another kids cabled sweater, will be slowly working on this one when I need something simple.

Started the #embraceoctopussweater by Maia E. Sirnes this sweater was my first favorite on Ravelry back in 2015. I'm excited to finally do this sweater! Its going fast in bulky yarn, but the extensive chart will definitely slow me down.

Last but not least, not a casted on WIP, but yarn from @ewetopiayarn arrived today to start the #antipodes by @dreareneeknits and I will definitely be casting on today! by @knitwit.ak
