To honor disability pride month, I thought I’d take a moment to be vulnerable. This is a brief glimpse into the realities of dealing with a chronic illness. To most I look fine, high functioning even. They don’t see the day to day struggles, the tears, the endless doctors visits, or hospital trips. It’s important to remember that everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
