I don’t make a lot of wall hangings because they take a lot of time and creativity and as a mom of two and homeschooling and home making well it’s mentally hard for me to start a commitment like this and also wall hangings intimidate me for some reason 😅 but when my sister asked me to make her one for Xmas how could I not? So I let her pick her color choice and this is what we came up with ! It came out better than I had imagined and it is very satisfying to have taken the time to make this piece. Just wanted to share :)
*Not for sale*

Almost done with these orders 🤪 still have about 10 more to make 😅 why not try a reel while I’m at it ? Which one is your favorite color? Dusty rose , eucalyptus, butternut, natural white, or cactus? #wristlet #lanyard #macrame #keychain by @knotbouji_macrame

2020 has definitely been a year of growth! 2020 was the year of facing my demons and finding myself. 2020 has been a year of many trips to botanical gardens and a new found love of macrame! Plants are what pushed me to learn macrame because I loved the plant hangers. I took a class in Philly and from there I continued learning through many YouTube tutorials!! It was so much fun starting and learning a new project and of course my first sale on Etsy! It has been so much fun and so rewarding. Macrame has kept me busy during this roller coaster of a year ! I hope to improve my shop and continue learning this craft ~ so many macrame makers on Instagram that I’ve come to follow can be intimidating but also very inspiring ☺️ the things you can do with just some cotton cord is amazing. So here’s to 2021!! Happy New Year Everyone!
